Salah threatens Liverpool

Mohammed Salah has allegedly threatened to quit Liverpool following the Reds’ failure to sign Nabil Fekir according to a shock report from Spain. The Egypt international enjoyed a stellar season at Anfield, scoring 44 goals and registering 14 assists in 53 appearances in all competitions.

Salah’s impressive form for club and country over the past 12 months has seen him linked with La Liga giants Real Maddrid and Barcelona, as well as several other big European clubs. Meanwhile, Fekir was set to join Liverpool from Lyon but the Reds reportedly tried to lower the transfer fee after discovering an ongoing knee issue during his medical, which led to the deal’s collapse.

According to repors, Salah wanted the France international to join the club following a remarkable season in France, and is unhappy at how the deal broke down. The report goes on to claim that the 25-year-old has sent his club an ultimatum expressing his feelings and is now thought to be considering offers from Madrid and Barca though he is contracted to Liverpool until June 2022.
