Roma keeper Alisson’s future resolved this week

Alisson Becker hopes his future will be resolved by the time Brazil’s World Cup campaign later this week.

The 25-year-old Roma goalkeeper has been a major target foe Liverpool as a replacement for Lorius Karius.

While speaking to reporters Alisson said, “There are options that we are working on, together with Roma and with respect for my club, We’ll see if something happens during this week.

“I believe that it will all be resolved before the start of the World Cup, or at least that is what I hope. To be honest, I’ve left it all in the hands of my agents.

“If it doesn’t get resolved before our first game [of the World Cup], then we’ll talk about it after because during it, my mind is only going to be 100% focused on Brazil.”

Alisson, the strong favourite to start in goal for Brazil in the World Cup finals, is thought to be valued at around £79m.
