Summary 

Japan walloped Paraguay 4-2 in a World Cup warm up match played on Tuesday 12 June.

Alejandro Romero scored the opening goal with a shot that troubled Japan keeper and found its way in the net. Takashi Uini leveled the scores for Japan at the 51st minute. He added his second at the 63rd minute.

Santander Federico turned the ball in his own net before Orti cut the deficit to one goal.  Shinji Kagawa added fourth goal for Japan.
