Olympique Lyonnais is delighted that they will have Nabil Fekir in the 2018/19 season.
The star was on the verge of a move to Liverpool over the weekend but the move failed.
It is reported that he has a medical issue that cannot be disclosed by Liverpool due to confidentiality.
Lyon released a statement following the debacle indicating the France international would be staying out.
It read: “Although Liverpool has been the priority of a possible transfer of Nabil… Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to be able to count on the presence of their captain in 2018-2019.”
Liverpool and Lyon had been discussing terms for a £53m transfer before the move collapsed
