Liverpool have suffered a fresh transfer blow after being told top target Alisson is “very happy at AS Roma” and is “content” to stay in Italy.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Brazilian goalkeeper for months and that intensified after Loris Karius’ display in the Champions League final.
Serie A side Roma are determined to hold onto their No1 and it looks like Alisson will be going nowhere judging by his international goalkeeping coach’s comments.Claudio Taffarel, who helped the Samba Boys to win the 1994 World Cup, told said: “Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours. I don’t know what will happen, but he said he’d be content to remain at Roma.”
