Arsenal set to miss out on talented French Midfielder

Reports in France has it that PSG academy prospect, Yacine Adli has agreed to sign a three years professional contract with the French champions in the coming weeks. The 17-year-old talented midfielder had been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks and it is believed that the London side had reached an agreement with the player’s representatives to sign him when he turned 18 years old at the end of the month.

Arsenal’s failure to sign Adli would represent the first major set back for the club since the arrival of new manager Unai Emery who gave the player his first taste of first-team football while he was manager of PSG and he is said to be a huge admirer of his talents.

It is believed that PSG’s sporting director, Antero Henrique was able to convince the player to remain at the club leading to his decision to change his mind at the last minute.
