Relegated Stoke City land World Cup bound Super Eagles star Etebo for N3b

English Championship side, Stoke City have announced the signing of Super Eagles World Cup bound midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo. The Potters who were relegated from the Premier League last season, paid a whooping £6.3million to Portuguese Primeira Liga side, Feirense for the services Nigerian World Cup star.

Etebo spent the last six month of the just concluded league season on loan at Spanish La Liga side, Las Palmas where he impressed enough the catch the eyes of Championship side who are looking to make a swift return the Premier League next season.

Stoke City in an official confirmation on its Twitter handle wrote: Stoke City are delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian international Oghenekaro Peter Etebo on a five-year contract The 22-year-old midfielder joins the Potters from Portuguese side Feirense for a fee of €7.2million.
