Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo Puts Forward The Ultimate World Cup goal

The Super Eagles kick-begin their battle against Croatia on June 16 and the striker has his eye on the prize

Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has said that lifting the much-desired World Cup trophy remains his ‘definitive objective’ at the competition.

Ighalo, 28, who captained the nation to the U20 World Cup in 2009, will make his presentation in the worldwide competition which begins on June 14, in Russia.

Also, he expresses that, similar to ‘each player’ for their nation, he intends to enable the Super Eagles to win the greatest trophy in football.

“I used to play in the young World Cup, however [this is my first time] taking part in the real World Cup.Winning the glass is each player’s definitive objective, including mine,” said Ighalo

To start with, Nigeria need to explore their way past Croatia, Iceland and Argentina in Group D, and expect to break their Round-of-16 hindrance for the Changchun Yatai marksman to have a possibility at grandness in Russia.
