Neymar closes in on Pele’s record after equaling Romario’s goals haul

After Neymar drew level with Romario by scoring his 55th goal for his country, Ronaldo and Pele are the only remaining targets for they Selecao forward to becoming Brazilá all time leading scorer. The 27-year-old football star has equalled Romario’s record in third on Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorers list. Neymar achieved the attainment on his first start since his comaback after three months injury spell, finding the net after 63 minutes of Brazil’s final pre-World Cup friendly against Austria in Vienna on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
