England stars given ultimate send off from Red Arrows ahead of flight to Russia

England were given a remarkable send off by the Red Arrows ahead of their flight to Russia.Gareth Southgate’s squad were training at St George’s Park when the RAF flew past to wish them good luck for the World Cup.

The England team will be jetting off this week ahead of their opening match against Tunisia.

After the flypast, Wing Commander Neil Hope MBE said: “We were pleased to be able to complete a flypast over St George’s Park as a good luck gesture to Gareth Southgate and his squad.”The RAF and RAF Football Association send their best wishes to the England team for a successful summer.”

England’s official Twitter page posted an image of the Red Arrows with the caption: “Thanks for the send-off, @rafredarrows #threelions”
