Arsenal are closing in on a £35million move for Freiburg star Caglar Soyuncu with the defender’s agent claims talks between the clubs are progressing well.
Soyuncu has emerged as one of the top young centre-backs in the Bundesliga after two impressive seasons at Freiburg. The 22-year-old has also been capped 15 times by Turkey and is believed to have been identified by Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat.
”Mislintat has been keen on Caglar since he was at Borussia Dortmund. He first scouted him back in Germany. Sven is interested in Caglar, there are concrete talks, all that remains if for a free to be agreed. We will see what happens next,” agent Mustafa Dogru telling Turkish Football.
