#Match report: Ghana bounce back to hold Iceland to a stalemate

The Black Stars of Ghana bounced back from a 2-goal first half deficit to draw hosts Iceland on Thursday night, in the latter’s last warm-up game before the World Cup . Iceland who will be making their World Cup debut in Russia this summer opened scoring through centre-back Kari Arnason in the sixth minute before Alfred Finnbogason doubled their advantage five minutes before the break with a header.

The Black Stars, ploughed their way back in the second half to reduce the deficit in the 66th minute through Kasim Nuhu while midfielder Thomas Partey got the equaliser three minutes from time.
Iceland will open their 2018 World Cup campaign against Argentina on June 16 and then face Nigeria four days later at the Volgograd Arena.
