Reports in England state Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez is close to completing a £75million move to champions Manchester City.
His ambition to join the ‘Sky Blues’ has been no secret, with the Algeria international even going AWOL after his January transfer was rebuffed by Leicester.
Mahrez eventually came back to the fold and finished the season strongly, posting 13 goals and 13 assists from 41 games in all competitions.
Now it seems he will finally get his wish, with the ‘Daily Mirror’ claiming that both parties are finalising agent fees ahead of a big-money move.
If the transfer was to be successful, it would end Mahrez’s five-year association with Leciester which culminated with a Premier League triumph in 2015-16.
