Lewandowski Offered to Manchester United

Reports out of Germany this weekend are suggesting that Robert Lewandowski has been offered to Man United.

The Polish International is expected to leave Bayern Munich this summer and it appears as if Old Trafford could be an a genuine destination according to German newspaper Bild.

The Bundesliga giants are understood to want to keep hold of their star striker but a massive bid of £175m could persuade them to part ways during this transfer window.

Real Madrid has long been suggested as the most likely home for Lewandowski this summer but with the managerial situation up in the air at the Bernabeu, that move is in doubt.

The 29-year-old forward is thought to want a new challenge and remains one of the most prolific strikers on the continent which is sure to attract plenty of interest. The former Dortmund forward wasn’t able to produce the goods in the Champions League Semi-Final against real but his domestic form was red hot. 29 goals in 30 Bundesliga matches was another impresisve tally and it does appears as if a move this summer might well suit all parties.

As well as Man United, Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the striker, although like Real Madrid, the Managerial situation at Stamford Bridge could be an issue when it comes to making a quick move. Alvaro Morata has failed to settle in the Premier League and is reported to want a move back to Juventus which could open the door to a new man arriving at the club.

Man United certainly have the money to do a deal of this magnitude but it remains to be seen if Jose Mourinho will show any interest in bringing in competition for Romelu Lukaku.
