Is Barcelona an unexpected destination for Yerry Mina?

The Turkish side, Fenerbahce, are the latest club to express an interest in Barcelona’s Yerry Mina. Fenerbahce are taking advantage of the good relationship that is shared between Barcelona and the Turkish company Beko, one of the main sponsors of the Spanish club, to see if they can poach Mina away from the Camp Nou this summer.

According to the information which is coming from Turkey, Fenerbahce are looking to overhaul their entire transfer policy so they can avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions. For this reason they are going to sign young players as well as bringing in players on loan. Under this new system Fenerbahce have sent their scouts out looking for potential targets and one of names identified is that of Yerry Mina.

Representatives from the Turkish side have started initial talks with Barcelona to see what Mina’s current situation is. After Samuel Umtiti’s renewal and Barcelona’s interest in Sevilla’s Clement Lenglet it appears that the Colombian might not be needed at the club next season.
