Danny Welbeck has claimed Marcus Rashford could well burst onto the international stage this summer.
The forward is well known in the Premier League, having impressed for Manchester United since breaking through into the first team, and after his performance against Costa Rica, Welbeck thinks Rashford has everything he needs to light up the biggest tournament of them all – the World Cup.
Welbeck said: “Can he ‘do a Michael Owen’? Marcus has the qualities to have an impact on every single game.
He is 20. He has got a lot of that youthful enthusiasm. On Thursday night he was buzzing all around the pitch.”
