France football’s president has dropped the biggest hint on Liverpool signing Olympic Lyon’s Nabil Fekir by claiming the deal “will get done”.
The Lyon forward was set to complete his move to Anfield on Friday after completing a medical at France’s World Cup training camp. Noel Le Graet, the president of FFF, revealed on Saturday that he still expects the move to go through.
“I saw him this morning for 15 minutes. He’s in the middle of negotiating, I think they will get it done. That does not prevent him from being very focused on the French national team,”Le Graet told Le Progres.
Fekir would be Liverpool’s second signing after the Capture of Fabinho from Monaco.
