Manchester City and Belgium star Kevin De Bruyne believe the side can cope without Vincent Kompany, should he fail to be fit.
The timing of Kompany return remains unknown but his club team-mate believes that Belgium will cope without their experienced center back.
Kompany is recovering from a groin injury suffered in the Red Devils’ goalless draw in a friendly against Portugal.
“He’s calm. I’m not putting the pressure on Vinnie [Kompany]. He knows his body and he works hard. He may not be there for the first games in Russia but the team can play the group stage without him.” De Bruyne told reporters.
