The agent of Freiburg star Caglar Soyuncu has confirmed that the defender is in ‘concrete talks’ with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates. Soyuncu has made 55 appearances for Freiburg since joining the club back in 2016 but the 22-year-old centre-back is being heavily linked with Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool this summer.
The Turkey international is regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the Bundesliga and a move will not come cheap, with Freiburg demanding £35million for his signature. Soyuncu’s representative, Mustafa Dogru, confirmed Liverpool’s interest and also lifted the lid on the Gunners’ discussions for the youngster.
