Gor Mahia defensive midfielder Ernerst Wendo has admitted that he is suprise that Everton coaches picked him as the man of the match.
The midfielders display in their 2-0 win over Singida in a Super Cup match staged in Nakuru County.
He said:
“Surely, it’s a nice feeling getting the man of the match award. I never saw it coming… l was surprised not because it’s impossible but because I was chosen by the Everton coaches and legend Yakubu,” Wendo told the official Gor Mahia website.
Gor Mahia face Simba in the finals.
