Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Jack Wilshere shouldn’t be going to the World Cup, and despite the player kicking up quite the fuss about being left behind, he has little to complain about.
Wilshere admitted that he thinks he deserves to go as part of the England squad, but Ferdinand has many reasons he thinks the player should not be on the plane, and admitted he thinks Wilshere should’ve played more football – and that there are other players who would suit the side better.
“Why would you take him?” report Ferdinand asked. “I didn’t disagree with the midfield choices he took. He can count on all the others physically.
