Arsenal legend Robert Pires thinks Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang can play together and form an exciting partnership next season. The pair showed nascent signs of a developing understanding at the back end of last season, with Aubameyang supporting the French striker from the left hand side of attack.
“I think they both can play together because they have a very good feeling and communication on the field, as we saw at the end of last season.They are both totally different but I think this is a good thing and they can play together, no problem,” he told Arseblog news.
Pires has been training with the Arsenal players for the past two seasons despite him being retired.
