Nzoia Sugar head coach Bernard Mwalala, has rued defensive mistakes his team made in the 2-2 draw with Mathare United in the Kenyan Premier League.
The Millers were twice pegged back to draw with the Slum Boys. Elvis Rupia scored both goals for Nzoia while Samwel Olwande and Cliff Nyakeya scored for Mathare.
In an interview, Mwalala said his team gave away easy goals leading to the draw.
” I think we did not defend very well. We attacked well, created chances scored two goals, though I feel we should have scored more. We never defended well, we gave away easy goals but that’s football, such things happen sometimes,” he said.
