#Match Report: Portugal End Winless Run With a 3-0 win over Algeria

 

Summary

Cristiano Ronaldo made his return to the national team as Portugal overcame Algeria in a routine 3-o friendly win in Lisbon on Thursday.

Valencia winger Gonçalo Guedes  scored a brace as the European Champions returned to winning ways after failing to test victory in the past three matches.

Midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored his first goal after being set up by Ronaldo who had a goal ruled out for offside.

Coach Fernando Santos’ men now shift focus to the first match of the world cup where they will face 2010 champions Spain on June 15 in Sacho.
