Gor Mahia’s Ernest Wendo was pleased with winning the Man Of the Match award in the teams Semi final win over Singida in the Sportpesa super Cup tournament in Nakuru.
Wendo was voted the man of the match after helping Gor Mahia seal another final as they gear to defend the title. The midfielder was superb all through as they beat Tanzania’s Singinda United 2-0.
“Surely, it’s a nice feeling getting the man of the match award. I never saw it coming… l was surprised not because it’s impossible but because I was chosen by the Everton coaches and legend Yakubu,” he told the Club’s Official Website.
