Spanish side Girona have appointed Eusebio Sacristan as their new head coach.The 54-year-old former Barcelona and Spain midfielder has signed a two-year contract and will be presented on Friday, the Catalan club announced in a statement.
He replaces Pablo Machin, who led Girona to a 10th-place finish in La Liga before stepping down last month to take over at Sevilla.Eusebio was sacked by Real Sociedad in March having been in charge of the Basque club since 2015.
