Manchester United are desperate to get rid of Matteo Darmian this summer, as the player has failed to impress manager Jose Mourinho since he arrived at the club and it seems that his most likely exit route, a move to Juventus, could well stall.
That’s because, according to DI Marzio, the fee United are asking for is too high, and the Red Devils may have to lower their expectations if they want to get rid of the full back.
Mourinho has made it clear he needs far more from his squad, and is looking to overhaul it this summer in order to compete with Man City, and it seems that getting rid of the lightweight players is one of the first things he wants to do.
Darmian has been linked with the exit door for some time, and he’s not the only one, with United also looking to bring in players this transfer window.
