Italian giants Juventus have confirmed the permanent signing of Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich.
Costa, a 27-year-old Brazilian winger, made the move to the Allianz Stadium on loan last summer, following two seasons with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. And, after a slow start to life in Turin, the South American, long known for his flair and electric pace, returned to his sensational best from November on, with Costa having looked frankly unplayable for lengthy stretches over the season’s run-in.
The Bianconeri have forked over a fee of 40 million Euro to Bayern Munich, with Costa having put pen to paper on a 4-year-deal with the Italian champions.
