FC Barcelona’s Argentinian great Lionel Messi has hailed French coach Zinedine Zidane after the former Real Madrid manager left the club after making them European champions for the third time in a row.
Zidane announced his decision to leave Madrid after beating Liverpool in the Champions League final in in Kiev and Messi spoke about his decision to El Mundo Deportivo and said, “Nobody expected it. It was a big surprise but he will have his reasons.”
The Barcelona great further stated, “I don’t know what will have happened but it’s good to go in the way he went after a time spent then in which he won practically everything. Nobody can hold anything against him.”
