Tottenham Hospur’s midfielder Delle Alli hopes to impress in his first World Cup this summer, with England’s opener with Tunisia now just over a week away. The youngster who will be making his first appearance at a major Tournament is raring to go in Russia.
“I am over the moon to be selected for the World Cup, it is what you dream of as a kid. We have got a great manager and an ambitious young squad. I am confident we can have a successful tournament,” he said.
He scored nine goals in the league for Spurs last season.
