FC Barcelona are interested in Senegal centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. The defender’s had a brilliant season in Italy with his current club, Napoli, and one of his country’s star players, along with Liverpool’s Mane, heading into this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Barça are working on a player exchange offer for the 26-year-old worth around 40 million euros plus one of Andre Gomes, Paco Alcacer or Denis Suarez. However, they’re not the only side to show an interest in Koulibaly. There are already offers from Arsenal (53 million) and Chelsea (60 million).
After ending the season with a domestic double, Barça are now working on improving their squad for the next campaign. Even though most focus is on Antoine Griezmann, they are also looking to improve in other areas. Along with Sevilla’s Clement Lenglet, Koulibaly’s a target in defence.
