Bandari see off Vihiga at Mbaraki

Super sub Darius Msagha came from the bench to hand Bandari Fc a 1-0 victory over Vihiga United in a Kenya Premier League match played at Mbaraki Sports club on Thursday 7th.

The match officials delayed the game due to lack of security in the stadium and after almost 15 minutes the match started.  Good display from the hosts who got the first chance through Otewa, the defender drove a long ball from the right flank but Oputi stayed put to deny him. The visitors responded through Philip Muchuma, his volley from the left flank was held by Shikalo.

A defensive lapse from Vihiga United saw Bernard Ogot and Vincent Wnada connect well just three minutes after coming on to hand Bandari the lead. Wardi collected the ball on the left wing from Nkata before delivering a beautiful cross to Msagha who made no mistake, punishing the visitors.
