Gabon captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he will be supporting the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia because of his club teammate, Alex Iwobi.
“I support Nigeria for World Cup because of my friend @alexiwobi but to tell the truth also because of your @nikefootball kit ???. I need one,” Aubameyang tweeted on Thursday.
Aubameyang joined Arsenal in January from Borrusia Dortmund and scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 13 English Premier League appearances. He also expressed his love for the Nigeria’s new kits for the World Cup.
