Top 3 Muslim footballers in the Premier League

Muslims all over the world are observing their Ramadan and footballers who are faithful to the Islamic religion are not left out in the activities, that is to say, that the beautiful game houses a plethora of Muslims you never knew about.

In the Premier League, we have a handful of Muslim footballers plying their trade in the biggest English clubs. Just a few weeks ago, Manchester United star, Paul Pogba visited the holy land of Mecca where he recorded a short video of himself.

While these footballers have ended their Premier League season, most of them are gearing up to represent their various countries in the biggest football showdown in the world which will be taking place in Russia, by June.

One of the Premier League’s most vocal Muslims, Paul Pogba has shown us how devoted he is to the religion over the years. The Manchester United midfielder makes it a point of duty to visit Mecca during Ramadan.

03. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The biggest Premier League name this season, Mohamed Salah is a devout Muslim. The Egyptian enjoyed an incredible debut season at Anfield, scoring 44 goals in 52 appearances, and will be out to shine in the World Cup.
