Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld reckons he has no control over his future, but admits he and the club have different ideas about where he should be next season.
The defender has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United once the World Cup is over as talks with Spurs about a new deal have hit a brick wall.
The Belgium international, who missed five months of the season with a hamstring injury, admitted he has been considering his future options.
He said, “I have another two years contract, so Tottenham decide about my future.Of course I have my own idea, but that is not the case now. The past season was tough, but I’m glad that I could play the last four matches.”
