Rangers set to pay £3m for Brighton & Hove Albion’s Connor Goldson’

Rangers to pay Brighton & Hove Albion £3m for the services of defender Connor Goldson.

The centre-back is currectly undergoing a medical with the Scottish giants.

Gers manager Steven Gerrard has been active in the transfer market this summer and is also said to be closing in on a season-long loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria.

Meanwhile, Gerrard’s predecessor Graeme Murty has resumed his role as head coach of the team’s Under-20s side, according to the same source.

The former England midfielder took up his post at Ibrox on June 1.
