Mathare United twice came from behind to salvage a point in a two all draw against Nzoia Sugar at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County .
Elvis Rupia gave the hosts the lead in the 4th minute but the hosts drew level in the 18th minute through Samwel Olwande’s diving header. Rupia, who is this season’s KPL top scorer then put Nzoia ahead once more a minute before the hour mark.
Mathare’s resilience however paid off as they again pulled level 8 minutes later through Cliff Nyakeya.
The draw leaves Mathare second with 31 points while Nzoia remain fourth with 27 points.
