Juventus Is Not Ready To Sell Miralem Pjanic

An Italian media outlet claimed that Juventus knocked back a £50m bid from Manchester City for Miralem Pjanic. The Premier League champions had tried to sign Jorginho from Napoli for the same amount but that had also been rejected.

The Serie A champions are in no mood to sell Pjanic and the amount quoted was also not enough. According to the report, were they to sell Pjanic, they would have had to sign targets such as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who would cost a lot more than £50m.

Moreover, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri considers Pjanic central to his tactical setup.  Selling him to City would have upset the balance of the side and Pjanic is considered undroppable at Juventus.
