Italy forward Simone Zaza has said he wishes to remain at Valencia next season.
The forward who scored on his international return in the 1-1 draw against Netherlands on Monday night expressed his frustration at continued speculation surrounding his Valencia future.
“I do not understand why I have to leave. The media are always speaking about my exit from Valencia, but I have always said that I want to stay,” Zaza told Onda Cero. “I get along with everyone and I live very happily here. I have not talked to the club about my future, they have not been in contact with me.”
The West Ham flop has revived his career in La liga and he scored 13 goals last season. His fine form has attracted interest from AC Milan.
