Sergio Ramos the bad boy. Again!

Liverpool have confirmed that Loris Karius did suffer concussion during the Champions League final loss to Real Madrid. Sergio Ramos crashed into Karius during the encounter in Kiev, with the German goalkeeper receiving a heavy blow to the head.

Just minutes later, Karius was guilty of a shocking error as his attempted throw rebounded off Karim Benzema and into the net. And later in the clash he failed to keep out Gareth Bale’s long-range effort. Liverpool went on to lose the match 3-1 and in the process losing their third consecutive final under Klopp.

It is interesting that after this new turn of events, Real Madrid defender and captain Sergio Ramos can be blamed for the loss of two Liverpool players. He was earlier on involved in a tussle with Egyptian winger Mohammed Salah and he can be seeing pulling the Liverpool man’s hand as he went to ground. Salah was forced off with a shoulder injury as a result of his heavy fall meaning the Reds lost their most important player in their most important match of the season.

Ramos has a knack for being a dirty player and this is proved by his 24 red cards for Real Madrid alone. Though he escaped punishment on both incidents, his un-orthodox approach surely had a hand in Liverpool’s loss.
