Saudi Arabia infuriated as British pubs cut down flag from World Cup displays

The banner from the Gulf State, which highlights Arabic content thought about holy in Islam, has been removed of showcases at many drunks. Staff were compelled to bring down all the individual banners after protests. Brewer Greene King made the move after they were let it know was wrong to hang the Saudi banner outside bars on account of the sacrosanct Islamic content that enhances it.

A Greene King representative stated: “To praise the World Cup, we have been showing the banners of the taking an interest countries to advance what we seek will be an extraordinary competition after all.

“Following feedback from some customers in London about displaying the Saudi Arabia flag in a pub, we understand it was inappropriate as it contains the religiously-significant Islam Shahada in Arabic and so we have removed it.” says a Greene King representative.
