Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos played a huge role in the departure of immediate former Mardid manager Zinedine Zidane. The French man shocked the football universe by announcing his departure from his post, just days after guiding them to a third consecutive Champions league triumph.
Zidane claimed he couldn’t face the whole dressing room to inform them of the news but instead told Ramos who in turn informed the others.
“The squad already knew, I did not talk to them all individually but they all knew. I sent a message to all the squad and first I spoke to Sergio Ramos .As always as a person and captain, we have lived a lot together, he respects my decision. He wished me luck.” said Zidane
Real Madrid are yet to find a replacement.
