Arsenal target Stephan Lichtsteiner insists his proposed move to the Emirates is not yet complete.The Swiss defender, 34, is a free agent this summer as his contract with Juventus expires. Though the Transfer is all but done, the Swiss captain remained coy on his future.
”Nothing is completed yet, no, I can’t say anything about the negotiations.As long as nothing is concluded, that’s what’s always interesting in football. I think we all know that. Therefore, there’s nothing new to say.” he told Swiss publication Blick.
Currently in Switzerland preparing for the World Cup, the right-back has stated that he hasn’t even come across the reports given he and his teammates are currently working hard ahead of the tournament in Russia.
“I don’t read it at all, I’m in Lugano — so in Switzerland. The rumours aren’t even reaching me, and it’s good this way,” he added.
