Harambee Starlets Skipper Wendy Achieng has issued a rallying call to fans to come out in large numbers to support the Starlets.
She says the players are in a good mood ahead of Equatorial Guinea match and wants the fans to stand behind the team in their quest to another AWCON appearance.
“Morale is high in the camp. I appeal to fans to supports us as this is our opportune moment to make a second appearance at the AWCON,” opined the Starlets fullback.
The match will see fans gain free access to the stadium, in an effort aimed at promoting the women’s game to the Kenyan populace. The match will be at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Wednesday 6 June.
