Stoke City are reportedly on the verge of completing a shock move for Wolves Striker Benik Afobe.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs are in advanced talks over a deal, which would see Wolves make a small profit on the money that they paid last week.
Wolves took up the option to sign the striker on a permanent deal after the forward had enjoyed a successful loan period at Molineux during the second half of the season.
If a deal is completed, the Championship winners would again be left without a recognised number nine ahead of their return to the Premier League.
Stoke have just been relegated to the Championship but Afobe is a proven goalscorer at that level, with 28 goals being scored in his last 62 appearances at the second tier.
