What JKU learnt from Gor Mahia loss

JKU boss Hassan Hamisi says his side has learnt a lot after their loss to Gor Mahia FC in the Super Cup quarters on Sunday.

The Zanzibar side lost 3-0 to Gor Mahia FC at Afraha Stadium and the coach feels that they failed to match the giants due to their physicality. His first target is to improve on physicality to make them ready for the top competitions.

“We have picked a lot of lessons from the tie and I’m impressed by the efforts my charges put in. The Zanzibar and the Kenyan league are totally different and what I can say is the opponents were physically astute than us and that won them the game so it’s an area we have to work on to be able to compete with the best teams in the region,” Hamisi said

JKU have exited the competition after the loss.
