Super Cup:Gor Mahia strolls past JKU

Gor Mahia FC made it to the semifinals of the Super Cup after whipping JKU 3-0 a quarterfinal match staged at Afraha Stadium on Sunday 3 June.

They Kenyan Giants started off by missing a penalty. Ephraim Guikan’s penalty after George Odhiambo was brought down was save by JKU custodian.

At the 30th minute, Odhiambo got the opening goal after he was picked out by a cross from Francis Kahata.

The side added the second goal before the break, thanks to a long range drive from fullback Godfrey Walusimbi.

Gor Mahia are a step away from making a return to the finals of the competition. They beat AFC Leopards in the 2017 edition.
