Russia 2018: Super Eagles touchdown Austria

The Super Eagles landed in Vienna, Austria on Sunday to put completing contacts to their arrangements for the 2018 FIFA World Cup holding in Russia from June 14.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the group’s entry was affirmed in a 44-second video posted on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed Twitter handle on Sunday.

In the video, the players and authorities were seen joining a transport at the airplane terminal which was relied upon to take them to their base in Bad Tatzmanndsdorf, which is around three hours away.

They left London on Sunday morning in the wake of playing an agreeable with England on Saturday at Wembley Stadium, which they lost 2-1.

“The Super Eagles have landed in Vienna. They make a beeline for their Avita Resort Base camp where they will prepare for the following couple of days,” the NFF composed on their handle. The Super Eagles will proceed with their arrangements for the World Cup by going up against Czech Republic in Austria on Wednesday.
