Neymar scores stunning goal on comeback from injury with Brazil

Neymar scored a superb individual goal just 24 minutes into his comeback from a metatarsal injury for Brazil against Croatia at Anfield on Sunday.

Neymar replaced Fernandinho at half-time, and put Brazil in front in the 69th minute. Receiving the ball close to goal, he cut inside to beat three men before firing a rocket of a shot into the roof of the net.

Brazil went on to win the game 2-0, with Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino scoring in added time.

Neymar had been sidelined since Feb. 25, when he fractured a metatarsal and sprained his ankle in a Ligue 1 match against Marseille.
