Makwatta benched as Migne picks squad for India test

Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has picked the team to face India in the second assignment at the ongoing Intercontinental Cup in Mumbai on Monday 4 June, making just one change from the team that took on New Zealand in the first game.

John Makwatta, who started in attack in the opening game as Kenya picked a 2 – 1 win, drops to the bench for the Monday game, with Dennis Odhiambo taking up his space to start in midfield.

Pistone Mutamba will be tasked with the hunt for goals.

Starting XI: Patrick Matasi, Jockins Atudo, Erick Ouma, Michael Kibwage, Musa Mohamed, Duncan Otieno, Dennis Odhiambo, Cliff Miheso, Patillah Omoto, Ovella Ochieng, Pistone Mutamba.

Subs: Timothy Odhiambo (GK), Vincent Wasambo, Timothy Otieno, Johnstone Omurwa, Bernard Oginga, Crispin Oduor, Kenneth Muguna, John Makwatta and Bolton Omwenga.
